A good week {HSMJ}

In my life this week…
Well this is NOT the way I planned to spend my beach holiday !!!  Three days into our holiday I developed what I thought to be a gastro' bug which  ended in an ambulance ride, surgery for a ruptured appendix, six days in hospital and a further 10 days recovering at home with large doses of antibiotics with just enough time to catch my plane back home.

After this experience I am pleased to say that I live at a time in history and in a country with excellent medical care. The second thing I'm grateful for is our Ambulance cover.  Best $80 I've spent in a long time.  We will need to be members for 14 years before we have even paid out the cost of that one ambulance ride.

I've become aware of a few mom's who have recently experience the loss of their new born babies.  Please can you pray for Isaac and Lissy (they also have a financial need please have a look at You Caring) as well as Amelia.  I have been following Amelia's journey through grief.  I am amazed at the depth of this young woman's heart and her insights have spoken to my heart on many levels Landon's Legacy

Gosh it's nearing the end of the Schoolhouse Review Crew run for 2014.  Applications for the 2015 year will be opening in October.  If you are keen to join the crew be sure to be posting a blog post once a week as this is a crew requirement.

  1. I've been thinking of you this week, imagining you up in the Sunshine Coast having a marvelous time, looking forward to hearing your news, but this!!!! Not good news at all:( but then as you say thankfully you live in today's world, in this country with this medical support. Praying my friend{{}}
