It's our first week back to school for 2014. Feeling happy and inspired and refreshed after our holiday to Goolwa. I think a holiday is a fantastic way to start a new year.
I am enjoying learning about my brain via Dr Carolyn Leaf over at TBN. You can watch the first episode here Switch on Your Brain.
Here are some of the things I have learned this week from Dr Leaf
- Your thoughts become physical areas in your brain. Thought networks grow in your brain as 'magic trees'
- Be careful what you are thinking about because your thoughts occupy mental real estate.
- When you think you create action (Proverbs 23:7 and Luke 6:45)
- It takes 21 days to form a new habit and an additional two cycles (42 days) to stabilize this new way for yourselves ...
- Did you know that toxic thinking creates inflammation in your brain ???
