Tuesdays Treasures (1-9)

The Usborne ART Treasury

I have discovered a wonderful book at our local library: The Usborne ART Treasury and a treasury it truly is.

This book contains beautiful art from around the world. Each piece of art is featured on a double page spread, there is a short description of the particular work of art, a short biographical of the artist and an simple explanation about a method used.
The next set of pages contain a picture of a project you can do, as well as a detailed step by step on how to accomplish the project at home.

I am so impressed with this book that I have ordered one for myself.

  1. What a lovely art compilation! I just love art. That's probably my favorite subject to do in our homeschool. Sadly it is the one that we get to the least. Thanks for inspiring me to bring back some art!
