Homeschool High School Carnival - Language Arts

Welcome to the April edition of Homeschool High School Carnival. This months topic is: Language Arts in High School. I found this topic was a lot harder to expand upon as it does not include composition or literature (Augusts topic). Grab a cup of tea and lets hear from these amazing home school Mom's.

Willa over at Take Up and Read shares how language arts work in her home from middle school analysis/logic to high school targeted practice "for a season."

Erin from over at Seven Little Australians & Counting discusses the foundational aspects of her Language Art program for her high schooler's. She also shares why she (and her husband) place so much emphasis on Language Arts.

Barb from over at Harmony Fine Arts at Home shares  about Language Arts at the Harmony Fine Arts Academy and which products they use.

Last month I shared a little about The Art of Language in High School and what our program looked like and what I would do differently and why along with a long list of links for your interest.

Lisa who has two high school graduates shares her thoughts on homeschooling High School and what she would do differently if she could. Great links and insight.

Wendy from Homeschooling Blessings shares with us How To Homeschool Your Teenage Son (And Be Happy at the Same Time)

Next Months Carnival topic is:  'Day in the Life of a Homeschooled Teenager'

Will be hosted at And the Kitchen Sink. Please share a glimpse into the day of your high school student. In particular focusing on the learning aspects.

The carnival is not limited to the suggest topic. If you are homeschooling a teen please share your thoughts with us.
