Homeschoolers at Home Interview

This week I've been interviewed over at Homemaking Organized.  It's been so much fun getting to know other home school families in their Homeschoolers at Home series.

Here is a sample of questions I've answered today:
  • We love to see where homeschooling happens. Can you give us a peek into your homeschool room?
  • Do you have any crafts or hobbies that you would like to share?
  • So you know that Homemaking Organized is all about homemaking or the details of home. We love to find out how others keep their homes. Can you tell us about your own homekeeping and how you manage to fit it in with homeschool?
  • What homeschooling method do you use ?
Thank you to Homemaking Organized for interviewing and featuring our homeschool on their blog.

Guest posting at my Dad's ...

Christmas is one of those times in the year that hold many special memories for me.  During my growing up years I can always remember the excitement and anticipation that we all had.  I have very fond memories of counting the days to the first of December so we could find all the special decorations and tree.

This weekend along with my three siblings and parents we share some of our family traditions and memories of Christmas.  Be sure to click on the photographs and look at them in light box.

Creating Christmas Traditions

Here is a sneak peak of my guest post over at the Crew Blog.  I'm sharing on Creating Christmas Traditions.A tradition is something that can change over time or be created with a sense of purpose. Special moments need to be created they do not occur by accident or without planning.

Psalm 77: 11—12 I will remember the deeds of the Lord, I will remember your miracles of long ago.  I will meditate on all your works, and consider all your mighty deeds. I am sharing some ideas to remember the miracles and mighty deeds of the Lord at Christmas with our families.

Bee Crafty Kids {Crystal Snow Flakes}

Today I am guest posting over at To The Moon and Back where I am sharing a tutorial on making Crystal Snow Flakes. This post has been deleted so I've shared it on my blog you can find the full tutorial here: Crystal Snow Flake {Tutorial}

A couple of years ago Sir N and I tried our hand at growing crystals from a kit set.  While this was fun to do it took a L.O.N.G. time.

On my many Pinterest travels I discovered a wonderful pin on Pinterest on making Borax Snow Flakes.

Pop on over to see a tutorial on how easy it is to grow crystals in 24 hours at home.

For those of you who love Snow Flakes the Twisted Sifter has the most amazing macro photographs of snowflakes to look over.

Be True to Yourself.

This weekend while spending time with my sister she encouraged me saying: “Be true to yourself.”

I have really been struggling with feelings of insecurity, yes even after 14 years of homeschooling!

As I went through my week my heart kept reaching for His.  “Lord why do I feel this way ?”

and His reply kept echoing.  “Be True To YOURSELF”

While over at Jo's place take a look around.  Her blog is full of rich lessons learned from the King.

Lessons that will inspire and encourage you.
