Dreams of Joseph {Virtual Fridge}

This Week
Better late than never.  I apologize for the lateness of this weeks link up.  I'm looking forward to seeing your creations.

Last year we were introduced to See The Light art curriculum and enjoyed working through the art lessons on Shipwrecked.

This week we started on the Art Projects series and so far have completed lesson one of the Dreams of Joseph DVD.  I hope to do the next two lessons soon and show you our completed project.

Featured This Week
There were some wonderful pieces of art shared last week.  I love seeing what the children have been up to.

It was the Chinese New Year yesterday and Kathy's children created these from a tutorial over at Red Ted Art - Chinese New Year Craft: Dragon Puppet & Free Printable.

Nikki's son spent some time creating this piece with water colours. It's titled Looking Out My Window.

Your Turn

I invite you to take some photo's of your children's artistic pursuits put them in a post and link up with me I would love to come over and see the wonderful art your children have enjoyed doing.

HSMJ NOt back to School this week

In my life this week…
I'm really excited about a new movie by Kirk Cameron called Mercy Rule. I have also decided I need at least two more hours in my day.  There is so much I want to do and not enough time to accomplish it in ...  I think I need a supplement.  I am feeling so very tired these days.  Can you recommend one ?

In our home school this week…
  • We started recorder lessons this week. Fun. I'm learning to play too. Pity I can't find the safe spot I put them in last year and now need to purchase new ones ...
  • We have added playing Naughts and Crosses (Tic-tac-toe) between lessons.  I've been caught out a few times going to need to focus more ...
  • N has been really enjoying Science 4 Us this week.  There are some tongue twisting comparison words in science ... Qualitative and Quantitative to name two we learned this week.
  • Level two of Children's Music Journey
  • French.  We have had an interesting start to learning to speak French with Mango Languages.
TL - Mango Languages FRENCH
TR - huge aquarium at The Children's Hospital
