This book is beautifully illustrated with photographs from all over the world.  Each country is featured on a double page spread featuring a map of the country, photographs of children and families in traditional dress, photographs of everyday life, the flag, general facts and the names of other countries with that letter of the alphabet. This is a beautiful book and lovely to read and look at.

This book is an interesting addition to your geography learning resources.  The inside cover contains a paper globe and stickers which are referred to throughout the book.  The first thirteen chapters deal with geographical information in narrative format.  From here you go to part two of the book which is a mini introduction to the seven continents and the countries and it's people.
